How did you discover the game: I found Sauerbraten because I was looking for a shooter game that was freeware because I use a mac and there are practically none.
What are your favorite game modes (except coopedit)? Why?: My favorite is Instagib team, because I think it takes alot of practice to get good at it and its really rewarding when you do get good.
Why Mapping Hell? I need a clan that I know won't A. Collapse soon after I join and B. not be hated by top notch clans.
What will you bring to the team ? I am a pretty cool headed person I think, and I do well making atmospheric maps.
What do you prefer to do in coopedit? Why? I like to do lighting and texturing, because I think these things are what really make a map what it is.
How many mapping projects did you start? I have started alot of mapping projects, I don't know the exact number but my guess is around 35 actual things I put work into.
What is your favourite kind of map ? My favorite maps are ones that keep a very constant theme, that make you feel as if you are actually inside the map physically.
Do you want to add something else ? I'm not a very geometric mapper, I can do some intermediate shapes but I would do best taking the finished geometry and adding lighting, particles, or just spiffing it all up.
I have 3 maps I want to show. The first is my favorite map I've done personally, because I look at it and think, "Damn, I want to live here." It's called imperial. I also am attaching a little revamp i did of it lit up in the night.
The second is based off a legend of zelda course, its called templeoftime. Its a small project I did, with only two rooms, but in my opinion It shows what I do best.
The third is a map in a desolate place in the artic. Its an abandoned base, not very detailed building wise but i spent a while trying to get the atmosphere and feel of it right.
