The Mega Archive / Minecraft next-gen?

I recently reinstalled steam, to get a few games back on my new laptop (which is awesome btw :D).
I've been browsing through the "green-lighted" games and here's what I found :

Starforge, which seems like a mix between minecraft and red-eclipse.
It's only in alpha yet and is sadly not free, but it's looking pretty amazing.

I thought that you could be interested.
So what do you think about it?

The Mega Archive / Problem with sauer

So, I have installed sauer on my laptop, but I got a problem, it's running at 3 fps (even on the menu) with everything switched off ....
While I can run World of Warcraft or any other game with good settings without trouble :/

Here's the message I have when I lunch it :

Actually, there is two problems : Kick isn't cancelled, each new master is kicked/blacklisted if he try to kick for the first time.

About Hell :

It was created during may 2008. The main goal was to gather friends just to make random maps.
It was renamed into : "MappingHell" during June 2009, we had tried to merge with the other mapping clan but it failed.
We kept the name and a new tag because the old one was too long.
And after a few problems inside the clan, we're going for a new start.

How is the clan ruled ?

As before, no real leader. Every one will be able to start differents projects, ask for help and whatever he wants in the forum.
Some people will have more rights than others because they will be directing a project, administrating a server or whatever requires a fast and powerfull leader.
Thoses rights could however be revoked if the leader abuses them.
I'll keep myself and a few other trustful members a veto, allowing them to take fast decisions if they think it's necessary (keep in mind that a decision can be canceled if it doesn't fit the situation and that you're always allowed to talk to the admins).


What will Hell brings to you ?

Mostly friendly people to help you with everything you need or just playing.
You need to practice insta? Learn how to do a 5x5x5 sphere? Want to make a jungle themed map?
Thoses are a few exemple of what we will try to do for you.

As you may have understood, the rules are going to change deeply.

You are still members of the clan (if you wish), so you are allowed to speak about that.
But to avoid this discussion spreading all over the Sauerbraten community, I'll ask you to speak here!

This is where you can whine, yell, argue, suggest or whatever. Have fun!

Yea I know it's pretty late, but I have to do it.

About me, erm, I'm a 16 years old french boy, called F****n. (Yeah, you'll have to guess, it's funnier trust me).

Sauerbraten, I play this game since 4 years now, or something like that... I started by Cube with few friends to spend some time killing each other, then I discovered the in game editor and just loved it. After some kind of a break of few months, I was back on Cube but alone... In fact Sauerbraten was released and that's how I joined it.
Coopedit isn't the only thing I like in sauerbraten, insta is very cool too (bring me back my crossbow!! :(), I also like other teamplay game modes.

About Hell, at first I was joining differents mapping clan because they all deid few weeks after they we're created.
Then I just started a huge map (the first hellhq), with an underground theme.
Hell was born few days latter. The clan is nearly 2 years old :D
I started to recruit only a month latter, because I wanted to gather other mappers to play and keep contact
with each other...

My maps, I don't really like to create playable map, my few trys weren't successful, I prefer to build huge map with a medieval / magic theme. I was also quite good for the details ( <3 my first cat ). I also modified / created few useless "scripts" : the main aim was to annoy people, or to make them believe I cheat (that was quite true...).

At first I would like to start with the most famous one way :

Whatever you want, you just have to write the letters : "MH" before your name, with something to separate it.
Like :

It should avoid ppl to reach the max character limit...

Flying :
It has two different binds, which are kinda the same but one make you jump and the other fall a bit..., only work in coopedit.
I use F and G on my keyboard (AZERTY) : (G)
/bind KEY [oldfloatspeed = $floatspeed; floatspeed 1000; edittoggle; jump; sleep 1 [edittoggle; floatspeed $oldfloatspeed]]
And : (F)
/bind KEY [oldfloatspeed = $floatspeed; floatspeed 1000; edittoggle; sleep 1 [edittoggle; floatspeed $oldfloatspeed]]

Annoying binds :
Type that in the console to choose a target :
/t = CN

And the binds : (I use MOUSE6 and MOUSE7 thanks to my extra button on my mouse)
Killing bind :
/bind KEY [spectator 1 $t; spectator 0 $t; say Die (getclientname $t)!]
Watch out : It unspect the guy if he was in spectator, and say the "Die !" even without existing target. (I could try to find how to fix it).

Aimbot :

One of my favourite
/bind KEY [edittoggle; goto $t; edittoggle; sleep 20 [attack]]
Watchout : It's not very good, it's way better with the machingun and still need some skill, you musn't be in editmode when you press the bind.

Here we are, another new project that I would like to make succeed, specially for this summer when a lot of people will be playing...

1) What is it ?

A kind of olympics adapted for Sauerbraten. Lots of minigames with various subjects (race, suppleness, precision).
It would be necessary to count on participation of every players possible, and to keep our servers following needs.

2) The event.

There, I need you and your imagination to create a lots of minigames.
To avoid having too many games to manage, only 5 or 10 would be chosen the day before, put in a map which will be uploaded few time before the event (24 hours max.) to avoid the players have too much the time to discover it, but also to avoid waiting for everybody to download the map...
A classification would be make at every end of day, with points.
"The date of an evenement will be fixed according to the available funds. "(lol I didn't understand at all x.X)

3) The games.

  Create your by following the example: 

QuoteGame n°0: Name
  Objective : Show how the game works, the way of winning points.
  Examples: Uploader of screenshots / map to illustrate your thought...
  Constraints: The problems which can be met during the game.

Tutorials / [How to: Add a Tutorial]

To keep the new forum clear, I will ask you to use tags ( [Software];[Mapping]; etc...).
Maybe add screenshots and try to write in a "good" english (unlike me).
Do it as beautifull as you can ;)

Ard-Edit:
The Topic for your tutorial should be relevant to the content of the tutorial.
For example, if you are making a circles tutorial, or cones tutorial, the topic should be like this:
[Mapping: Geometry] Circles Tutorial
[Mapping: Geometry] Cones Tutorial

If you are making a scripting tutorial, the topic should be like this:
[Scripting: blahblahblah] Script Tutorial

If you are making a lighting tutorial, the topic should be like this:
[Lighting: Outdoor] Forest-Themed Lighting
[Lighting: Indoor] Cave-Themed Lighting

And so on.
This helps to keep things organized, and generally makes it easier to find what you are looking for.
