I, for one, will not be voting at all.  Since last time I voted, it turned into a rather uncomfortable situation, and now the entire clan looks at me as some dick over a fucking vote.


If, by chance, that I were to vote, I would take the time to go through every map since I actually care about what the applicant posts, unlike the rest of the people here.

Actually, it is possible to make the bot spawn at the right location every time.  Via ctf/protect/collect modes.

But, is this allowed? The ffa map is only a portion of the actual sp map, the ffa map is for the boss only since it seems the only way to legitamately have a boss fight with a bot without going deep into the code to modify things.

Everyone can use this idea, and suicizer, you should add this to your node or make an 'ideas' section.


To better word the bot and the healthboosts:  the match begins, when you spawn you (automatically) make # of healthboosts where the bot is going to spawn.

The bot spawns and picks up the health boost.  1 or 2 seconds later, the script will (automatically) edit toggle and delete the healthboosts.


To better explain why 2 maps might be used:

But as you probably already know, the goal is to get to the temple, once you get there, the map switches to an ffa map of just the temple.

I know it's against the rules to have 2 maps, but the boss map is the temple stripped from the main sp map, and the area to have the fight in.

Step 1:  Go in-game, and type '/genauthkey <some secret password here>

Step 2: Copy the keys.. somehow.

Step 3: put the PUBLIC KEY, in the servers SERVER-INIT.CFG in this format:

adduser <name> <server auth> "THE PUBLIC AUTH KEY HERE" <master/admin>

Example: adduser somerandomnoob jimdandy "erapguhf3nq4-e9g0bvhn8un" admin

then they can go on the server, and type /auth jimdandy, and they get admin.


Step 4: put the PRIVATE KEY, in your AUTOEXEC.CFG in this format:

authkey <name> "PRIVATE AUTH KEY HERE" <server auth>

Example: authkey somerandomnoob "erpguidfhbn24qw-9fubn" jimdandy

Step 5: MAKE SURE THE NAME IN SERVER-INIT.CFG MATCHES THE ONE IN AUTOEXEC.CFG

Step 6: MAKE SURE THE SERVER AUTH IN SERVER-INIT.CFG MATCHES THE ONE IN AUTOEXEC.CFG

Step 7: go on the server and test it.  /auth <server auth here>

If you still don't understand I'll explain it further.

Tesseract won't have many players unless the framerate problem is fixed.

My AW, can run Skyrim, BF3, LOTRO, etc, at MAX settings, and get an incredible framerate.

Yet it gets ridiculously low framerate on Tesseract, on MINIMUM settings.

My opinion on Tesseract, from my most recent experience: Horrible. It's not even worth opening.  Hell it's not even worth it to think about it.  Yeah, I know, it's a project that's in-dev, but it's laggy as hell.

Many will probably say, "Get a better computer" -- to those people who do, Fuck you, my computer is at least 2x if not 3x as better as yours. (not directed towards any specific person/persons)



Example of how laggy Tesseract is:

Skyrim, BF3, LOTRO, on max settings: only 50-70% CPU usage.

Tesseract, on minimum settings: 80-100% CPU usage. (on fucking complex, dear god.)
