Reminds me of Apollo's map with the face, something like that would look awesome in Sauer alongside some jagged mountains etc.
Something that comes to mind from the two pics you posted, is an icy mountain-like landscape leading into a cave of catacombs where it gradually turns to lava/fire deep on the inside and has some large open spaces. It would be like walking into Hell through a mountainside (mapping hell xd).

We could always continue the dungeon layout we started before and somehow place it inside of a mountain?

I honestly think we should revive the old -[Hell]-HQ map. It had a hellish theme, and frankly, I like it a lot.
