anyways, I liked Scedm5 a lot, reminds me a little bit of Metroid prime, so my vote is a yes

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if there is anyway to add a MD3 model with animated texture to sauerbraten? like for an example: if i wanted to add a custom waterfall to my map. I looked around first before starting this topic but didn't see anything on it. any help would be greatly appreciated

Hey guys, I'm having some trouble with the faces on my obj model - some of the faces are dark in areas and in other areas there seems to be light peeking through. Is the anyway to clean that up with just using sauerbraten? but if not then i imagine i can fix it with blender.

Hey guys,

I guess its been awhile since i last posted any sauerbraten contents from me, so i just wanted to say that I'm still active with the game.
I'm currently working on a map right now, its taking me awhile to figure out the layout and a strong theme for the map but I'm watching each step i take with it so i know its going to be my best work yet. I am also planning on making costume textures for the map so its going to be awhile before you see any contents from me.

But really i made this post just to say that I'm still very active, and if any of you guys need help with your maps I'm totally available.

How do you feel about obj models? I'm having hard time making the kanji small so it would be easier to make them with big cubes an then turn them into obj file, so then we can slime them down to any size we want.

Sorry for the wait,

I'll start this out by saying i love deathapartments, i love that type of style and you did a great job with it so I'm going to vote "yes" and i hope to make a map of that theme with you.

Now about hgde,
The structures look nice but the map has no flow and it feels like you are in some type of small mouse maze, so first off i would fix the buildings by making the stairs easier to use from the sides and also make it easier to get out of buildings by adding more stairs or adding ladders on the sides then i would re-size the middle maze and make it bigger and maybe add more paths and
for the layout, i think you should make the middle maze go into the ground and then make the four buildings set above the maze on the four sides i think they would make a good sniping point to shoot inside the maze or to pin down people over at their base, an i would keep the two walls on the middle sides blocking off the teams from moving in that way but i would make the walls low to the ground so people inside the buildings can sniper over them.
I like the map and i think it can turn into a great ctf map or base capture and  also i would be happy to help you with the map if would have me.

Newbase:
um I like the front door but it wouldn't be able to close :P

i think you fail to see the point of minecraft, i personally don't feel like explaining every different point of view of both games but you shouldn't compere them because they are by far a different games. with minecraft, it has an easier gameplay then cube2 games so that makes it easier to play with friends and family with out having to drop made time trying to learn the game first. which brings me to my next point, minecraft has a easier multilayer building style compere to cube2 not everyone is creative as others or willing to drop days or weeks onto a project so with minecraft you can start on a larger project with a friend and finish it faster then you would on cube2 games because you are only building with blocks and not a cube made of 8 vertices and also because you can only building with blocks you can almost make a endless structures with out having to worry about lag and also minecraft comes with pre-made landscapes and different biomes to build in and don't even get me start on redstone projects because thats ahole new story.

so both games are supper fun in they're own way and are both highly addicting games,
