So should we actually start another map someday? Perhaps when a few of our clan begin, the rest will follow eventually...

This was more a missions/cubescript new modes mod that i was gonna add with PPST.

If you want cars in sauer, go ask eihrul and he might add them in tess.

A lot of my shit is on hold, 1: school, 2: lazy, 3: because i only do sauer stuff when im in a sauer mood

So project canceled till your retirement?

I've already finished it.  Too lazy to upload it, calm down Saucijzer.

Excuses excuses... You could have done so in the time you made that one up.

I remember someone really hating to be called differently than his full ingame name (perhaps someone named Ardelico?). Somehow he seems to do so as well towards others, the hypocryte.

I remember back in 0.88 there was ac_dust wich was a very good copy of the original counterstrike map. Had some nice time on it.
They should get better playermodels...

Why would someone bother about the properties which an other person has? It's not like you could borrow it. Telling to people what you own is 1 of things in life which I don't and probably never will understand...

Uhm, well the subforum is "Your system specs".
If anything, someone can look at a few threads here (knowing we all play sauer) and get an idea of what hardware is borderline for playing with whatever settings.

Seems like your specs wouldn't be the border line. Ever tried using a Pentium 3 or 4 processor?

to the concept: I generally like xp/coins/etc in videogames, unless they unbalance the gameplay by giving players with more playtime a large advantage. They kind of make you feel like you didn't waste your time, even if you did.  ;D But I'm not sure if it will work out that great, if they don't give you any advantage at all ... like, what's the point in collecting them? It unlocks new ways to gain more coins, but there's no real use for the coins that actually changes the gameplay. Not that I would want that in Sauer, but I think the player needs some kind of motivation.

>_> correct me if i just misunderstood it

You kill stuff. The end.

Razgriz, nothing personal as I respect you man. But let the guy show his experiments. You can help him by pointing him in the right direction (I know that's hard as I'm guilty of rather just telling what and how to do on mapping). I know you like cubescript challenges and want to publish your probably way much better script all around the community, but do so after that particular scripter has given up or asks for the real deal.
Also, this isn't Quadropolis (and such practices shouldn't be done there as well), so again, let him go; he needs to learn it some way.

[End of respectful rant]

Yep and it's a seriously lame and license breaking one in the time I looked at it.

The forum is dead because we are still mostly talking about sauer which is dead. Maybe if we focused more on Tesseract and finding ways to promote the game we could get people back on here (?)

Sent from my T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy SII

I don't think it's that related to each orher.
Obviously, saying something is dead kills the particular subject. I won't say it's dead unless eihrul states so or there won't be any more revisions over a period of time (which still occur). Also, who says the Sauerbraten project can't be adopted?

You are getting pretty far off topic. It is a matter of respect to preserve the subject. Do shut up now.

As I'm the creator of the topic, it would mean when we apply your statement that I'm disrespecting myself (which is pretty odd and unlogical.

As it seems incredibly hard for you to focus on just 1 question, I'll ask it personally to you (you may feel flattered right now);

Why is the forum dead?

Oh, well gee, I don't know. Maybe read the thread.

Rather read the title and answer it once more.

Oh christ, stop being so uptight.  I'm replying to the subject matter contained within the thread.
Show me the rule of the internet saying that the topic of a thread may not deviate from the title.

There is no rule as it's a matter of respect to preserve the subject.

Also. Hi. I'm me and I'm not dead.

Very nice but what has tesseract to do with forum/clan activity?

What I'm trying to say is that we're in a transition period between the end of Sauer and the beginning of Tesseract's popularity.

So where is that fully packed Tesseract community?

I've release  a lot of texture- and modelpacks during my time on Sauerbraten (compared to the rest of the community) and they only need to be repackaged (for most of them). There are even some texture packs which are still waiting to be released  ;D.
I would seriously hate the idea of adding old (crappy) maps back into Tesseract. We rather could make a new start and a different gameplay (although all triggers are dumped already as Razgriz states =\).

Actually,  I've seen texture packs as large as 256x256...

That actually makes it worse as it still appears like they use textures sized as 64x64 on everything.

R.I.P. MH forum.

Cause of death: minecraft.

Pretty sad dead actually; beaten by a game which can't render bigger textures as 64x64.

As the title shows off, did our MH forum died?

Only a very few members respond on the forums nowadays while of the active members isn't coming alot of input....

P.S.
I don't know who changed the title, but rather keep it like it was indended (I wouldn't ask it this way just to end about tesseract).

Actually, I wouldn't mind that a minecraft section would appear, as everything which has nothing to do with mapping ends up there.

I still have a small thing that could bother me, which is:
A recruiting user must post one or more pieces of content created within the Cube2 engine. ( Preferably Sauerbraten, but not limited to. )
That should not be changed at all times.
A recruiting user should never show their skill in any content made for or within Minecraft. Mapping Hell should stay Mapping Hell, not Crafting Hell.

I actually haven't heard of any players which moved from Minecraft to any game on Cube Engine 2; probably as it's a way different genre which only seems to share the similarity as being cubistic (woohoo, correct me if I'm wrong).
However, I do have heard of players which moved from any game on Cube Engine 2 to Minecraft...
