Minecraft Texture Pack
« on: November 15, 2011, 05:57:22 pm »
I took some minecraft textures off of the wiki and make a texture pack with them. I resized them to be the size of exactly one cube.

I also made a map with them, which is in the .zip file. Feel free to modify it and play Minecraft in Sauerbraten!

Included:
Tree
Plank
Brick
Iron Ore
Gold Ore
Cobblestone
Smooth Stone
Pumpkin
Jack-O-Lantern
Bookcase
Jukebox
Dirt
Grass
Dirt w/ Grass
Obsidian
Gold Block
Sand
Lightstone

Noted Problems: Couldn't find a seamless grass texture, had to modify the image to look a little better, the edges look glitchy.

Minecraft Wiki, for collecting the images

Just about to check it out, but i don't want your .DS_Store files  ;D

And another thing, in the config you used lower-case for your name, and the folder is upper-case... thought i'd mention as it will throw errors on anything (linux, bsd, mac) but windows.

Looks perfect though, right size for the textures.
All it needs now is a skybox (with the square clouds lol)

Every texture in Minecraft. May be a bit small, but sauerbraten fixes that automatically.

Easy workaround is to import a "cube" from blender so you get a cube which is a mapmodel. As far as i know, sauerbraten can make an all or nothing transparent effect to a cube (alpha material). However if you use a mapmodel you can mask certain colours to become transparent in certain places only.
